Description

Redo edit of M13 with a new processing style. Fun to see how far I  have come a long way in a 1.5 years. Here is a link to my quite blown out first edition in 2020 (https://www.astrobin.com/c5hw3o/C/?nc=&nce=)

The cluster of stars which all developed at the same time is estimated to be 300,000 stars. The stars remain in the same globous structure due to gravity as compared the Pleiades which is an open cluster spread away from each other.

Approximately 25,1000 light years away in our own Milky Way Galaxy and 145 light years wide. The cluster rotates far above the galactic plane.

Visible magnitude of 5.8, this can be seen in ton constellation of Hercules on a clear moonless night in rural Kansas.
